Black Diamond Creatives LLC(BDC) recognizes this need and has crafted engaging card games for all ages. These landing pages are meant to emphasize the cards themselves, explain how to play, and encourage imagination. These pages are key touchpoints for potential players, educators, and parents seeking to enrich the learning experience through play.


My role: UX/UI Strategist

Tools used: Figma, Carrd.io, and Canva


The Games



The purpose of these landing pages was to introduce not only the company but the games to those curious about the different products created by Black Diamond Creatives LLC(BDC).


The main goal of each game is to foster innovative learning within a group setting.


  • Complexity- STEM-based education focusing on constructing a DNA strand and safeguarding it from mutation by altering codons.

  • Arbitrage- aim to finish the game with the highest net worth by combining money, assets, and awards! You can succeed by playing as a museum or as the auction house.

  • Quibble- create a believable story using the words on random cards provided at the start.






The Importance of Landing Pages

Landing pages are pivotal for turning visitors into users. They create a focused space for potential customers to discover a product without distractions. For educational card games, it is crucial to clearly convey the game’s objectives, age suitability, and educational advantages. For instance, research from HubSpot shows that businesses with optimized landing pages can boost conversion rates by as much as 300%.

At first, the graphics for each card game were hidden behind text, which made navigation challenging and messy. I utilized Figma to enhance the visuals and create banners for Carrd.io by exporting PNGs from Figma.

This was done to ensure that the purpose of each card game was clear to users before buying. The primary audience is adults and educators, as they can introduce the games to people of all age groups.

Implementing the placement for this was challenging because I needed to balance the amount of information required for the game. If more explanation was necessary, the sign-up had to be positioned near the top. With less information, the sign-up could be placed towards the bottom of the page.

Company Introduction and Values

Beyond game descriptions and sign-up features, each landing page provides an introduction to Black Diamond Creatives LLC. This section shares the company's mission to promote educational innovation through fun and interactive games. By highlighting their dedication to quality and learning, they foster trust and reliability with potential customers. Transparency is increasingly important; a survey by Consumers International found that 75% of consumers want to buy from brands that reflect their own values.
